Lucas Simoes PT, DPT, OCS, FAAOMPT
Lucas is the Clinic Manager at the Sanford location.
Lucas was born and raised in Brazil and moved to the United States in 2005. He earned his Doctorate of Physical Therapy and completed residency training in both Orthopedic and Sports Physical Therapy at the Catholic University in Campinas, Brazil. Before moving to the states, Lucas gained extensive experience while working with patients of all ages with Orthopedic issues, as well as professional athletes. In the US Lucas earned his Masters of Science degree in Musculoskeletal Rehabilitation through the University of Pittsburgh. While in school at the University of Pittsburg, he served as a graduate student researcher and participated as a trial coordinator in a largescale knee osteoarthritis study.
A lifelong learner, Lucas continues to enhance his skills in spinal manipulation through postgraduate training and has recently received his certification in Myofascial Trigger Point Dry Needling, completed fellowship training in Orthopedic Manual Physical Therapy, placing him among the ranks of the best Physios in the country. Lucas is also pursuing his education in TMJ treatment to expand his knowledge in treating patients in many different areas.
When he’s not treating patients, Lucas loves playing soccer and volleyball. He also enjoys cooking, going to the beach, and spending time with his kids.

Jonathan Castro Tigre PT, DPT
Physical TherapistDr. Jonathan Castro Tigre earned his Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) degree from the University of Loma Linda. Prior to that, he earned his Bachelor of Arts in Religious Studies from North Caroline State University and his Associate of Science in Allied Health from Southern Adventist University. Upon completing his doctorate, Jonathan also volunteered to help his community in Loma Linda, California, through his Church and University.
Jonathan enjoys working with patients towards their goals and being an integral part of their journey towards an improved quality of life. He has a passion for Neuromuscular Re-Education and helping patients through motor control improvement. Above all else, he enjoys connecting with patients and building fulfilling and long-lasting relationships with them
In his free time, he likes reading, weightlifting, exploring nature, and spending time with his family. He also enjoys gymnastics and traveling across the US.

Prior to that, he earned his Bachelor of Science in Exercise Science from Appalachian State University. Matthew enjoys making connections with his patients, and helping them to achieve their goals. He desires to impact lives, and help individuals in the community. In his free time, he enjoys spending time with family, and friends. He also enjoys board games, weightlifting, and rock climbing.
