I recently had knee replacement surgery. I decided to do my physical therapy at BreakThrough Physical Therapy in Verona because it would be convenient. I am so glad I made that decision. Nash made me feel comfortable right away. He is very knowledgeable and has a calm, encouraging manner. I was thrilled with the success…

Julie and Jessica were invaluable in my breast cancer recovery. After a long recovery from a mastectomy, chemo, radiation, and reconstructive surgery with implants, I still suffered from pain in my ribs below my breast and pain in my breast area from radiation. From the first time I met Julie and Jessica, it was clear that concern for my total care was their priority. This included both the physical and mental challenges of breast cancer recovery. Upon learning of their focus on all aspects of this targeted program, I knew I was in the right place and on…

Katie has completed her post-doctorate training with Evidence In Motion and is now a Certified Pelvic Health Physical Therapist, specializing in the treatment of pelvic floor dysfunction in both men and women. Katie has also received her Dry Needling certification and has experience with both men’s and women’s orthopedic issues, including hip, low back and pelvis issues.
Katie resides in Morehead City, North Carolina, with her husband. She enjoys spending time with her chocolate lab, Lexie Lou, watching the Pirates play football (ARGHH), cooking, and spending time on the water.
Kerry earned her Doctor of Physical Therapy degree
as a member of the charter class of South College in Knoxville, TN. Prior to earning her doctorate, she received her Bachelor of Science degree in Kinesiology from the University of Maryland, College Park.

Jon and their three boys. They enjoy spending time with friends, cookouts, camping, and hanging out at the beach!
Ashlee earned her Physical Therapy Assistant Certification from Craven Community College in New Bern, NC, and her Bachelor’s of Science in Business Administration from East Carolina University.
She takes special interest in pediatrics and amputee rehabilitation and had the opportunity to participate in a 6-week pediatric clinical rotation where she was able to visit children at school, in their home, and in the clinic. She was amazed at what the kids were able to accomplish and enjoyed being able to help them become stronger and more independent while helping them play and interact as every child should be able to.
Ashlee lives in New Bern with her boyfriend, John, and dog, Linus. She loves going on hikes, playing soccer, and traveling. She looks forward to making a difference in patient’s lives and continuing to learn and grow with BreakThrough.
