Meet the Staff
Lee Ann earned her Bachelor of Science degree in Physical Therapy from The University of New England in Biddeford, ME, where she also played collegiate soccer on the men’s team. Upon completing her bachelor’s degree, she went on to earn her Doctor of Physical Therapy degree through Evidence In Motion’s doctoral program.
Lee Ann takes special interest in hand therapy, pain neuroscience, and orthotics, and she has completed continuing education courses in Myofascial Trigger Point Therapy, Maitland, Feldenkrais, and Functional Orthopaedics. Lee Ann has lived all over the country, from Maine to Hawaii, but loves living in a small town. She and her husband Dennis have three children, Jarod, Sam, and Devin.
In her spare time, Lee Ann enjoys rock climbing, hiking, biking, traveling, and bodybuilding. Her goal is to be a better person each year in every aspect of life and lives by Philippians 4:13: I can do all things through he who gives me strength.
Jennifer earned her Physical Therapy Assistant degree from Stanly Community College in Albemarle, NC. Prior to this, she attended Lock Haven University of Pennsylvania for her undergraduate degree and swam competitively. She takes special interest in manual therapy, orthopaedics, balance, and lymphedema.
Jennifer is a trained CPR instructor and has completed education courses on the Maitland approach and Maitland Stabilization. She also plans to complete her PTA Orthopaedic Certification and an additional Maitland course in the Fall of 2019. Her best advice to patients is to stay active, no matter what and that less can be more.
Jennifer and her husband Dan will celebrate 20 years in October. Together, they have two children, Morgan and Seth, and a yellow lab, Bucky. Jennifer is an avid runner and has completed five half marathons. She has also been sky diving twice! In her spare time, she enjoys reading, listening to music, and getting out on the lake.
Elizabeth earned her Doctor of Physical Therapy degree from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. Prior to this, she earned her undergraduate
degree in Biology from Catawba College, where she also played volleyball and was a Division II all-conference athlete.
Throughout her career, Elizabeth has completed Maitland 1 Peripheral, Maitland 2 Spine, Maitland 3 Intermediate Spine, and Maitland Stabilization Training & Functional Rehabilitation. She also takes special interest in manual therapy and pain science. Elizabeth’s biggest achievement is becoming a mom, and she and her husband Ben have two children and one dog. In her spare time, she enjoys spending time with family and friends, exercising, and going to the movies.
Her best piece of advice to patients is to be patient with your body as you take one day at a time to focus on strengthening and improve your movements. You will see progress in time.
Marie is the office manager for the Indian Land and Fort Lawn locations. She earned her undergraduate degree in Applied Science from SUNY at Farmingdale.
Marie and her husband Michael have been married 37 years and have two children, Melissa and Michael, as well as three grandchildren, Liam, Charlotte, and Stella. In her free time, she enjoys
traveling, Jazzercise, reading, biking, and spending quality time with her family. She also serves as a volunteer for JDRF. Her favorite quote is, “Life isn’t about waiting for the storm to pass; it’s about learning to dance in the rain.”
