Wendi McIver PT, DPT
Clinic DirectorWendi is originally from Plainfield, New Jersey, and attended high school in Richmond, Virginia. She earned her Bachelor’s degree in Biology from Virginia Commonwealth University before serving in the U.S. Navy as a Nuclear Reactor Operator.
After completing her military service, Wendi discovered her passion for helping others through education and healthcare. She and her husband settled in Greensboro, North Carolina, where she was inspired to pursue physical therapy after witnessing the profound impact it had on her own family—from her premature niece and nephew to her husband’s recovery from a traumatic motorcycle accident, and her mother’s joint replacements and spinal surgery.
Wendi earned her Doctor of Physical Therapy degree from Winston-Salem State University in 2013. Since then, she has worked with patients of all ages with orthopedic, vestibular, and neurological conditions. She is passionate about identifying the root cause of each patient’s issue and empowering them through education—helping them restore function, relieve pain, prevent re-injury, and manage progressive neurological conditions.
Outside of work, Wendi enjoys spending time with family and friends, singing in her church choir, baking, reading, and exploring nature trails.

Physical TherapistSmit Patel earned his Bachelor’s degree from Uka Tarsadia University in India. To align with United States educational standards, he completed bridge coursework through the University of Montana, the University of St. Augustine, and the College of St. Scholastica. His academic background and training have helped shape a strong foundation in evidence-based patient care.
Smit enjoys working closely with patients, with a special interest in treating athletes and active individuals. He is passionate about helping patients return to movement, improve performance, and regain confidence through personalized and goal-driven rehabilitation.
Outside of the clinic, Smit enjoys watching and playing sports, hiking, riding motorcycles, and spending time outdoors. He values staying active himself, which helps him better connect with patients pursuing an active and healthy lifestyle.
