Physical TherapistDr. Kacey Massey earned her Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) from South College at the Knoxville, Tennessee campus. Prior to that, she earned her Bachelor of Science in Exercise and Sport Science at Campbell University in Buies Creek, North Carolina.
Kacey has always wanted to go into rehabilitation since being an athlete in high school and unable to continue due to injury. She fell in love with outpatient physical therapy after shadowing a PT at a BreakThrough location during her undergraduate. One of her greatest joys is seeing the progress her patients make and being able to get someone back to what they love doing.
On her free time, Kacey enjoys spending time with her family, whether it be staying inside for movie nights or going for walks or to the baseball field. Her hobbies include reading, being crafty or artsy, playing guitar, or playing video games.

Shirlinda is passionate about helping patients achieve their goals and improve their quality of life through physical therapy. She enjoys creating individualized treatment plans that address each patient’s unique needs and goals while fostering a positive and encouraging environment throughout the rehabilitation process.
