Elizabeth McKinnon PT, DPT
Physical TherapistElizabeth earned her Doctor of Physical Therapy degree from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. Prior to this, she earned her undergraduate degree in Biology from Catawba College, where she also played volleyball and was a Division II all-conference athlete.
Throughout her career, Elizabeth has completed Maitland 1 Peripheral, Maitland 2 Spine, Maitland 3 Intermediate Spine, and Maitland Stabilization Training & Functional Rehabilitation. She also takes special interest in manual therapy and pain science. Elizabeth’s biggest achievement is becoming a mom, and she and her husband Ben have two children and one dog. In her spare time, she enjoys spending time with family and friends, exercising, and going to the movies.
Her best piece of advice to patients is to be patient with your body as you take one day at a time to focus on strengthening and improve your movements. You will see progress in time.
