Physical TherapistMatt is the Clinic Manager at the Cary location.
Matt is Board Certified through the American Physical Therapy Association as an Orthopaedic Clinical Specialist, and earned his Doctorate of Physical Therapy degree (DPT) through Evidence In Motion in 2013. He has been practicing physical therapy since 1998, when he graduated from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill with a Master’s degree in Physical Therapy.
Matt is credentialed in Mechanical Diagnosis and Therapy through the McKenzie Institute. He has also completed an intensive Orthopaedic Residency program along with his transitional doctorate with Evidence In Motion in 2013. His Alma Mater is Appalachian State University, in Boone, North Carolina. He has been with BreakThrough Physical Therapy since 2011.
Matt works primarily with patients with orthopaedic, musculoskeletal, and neurologic conditions, and has a special interest in treating patients with conditions involving chronic pain.
Matt is an avid swimmer and cyclist, a pretend surfer, and enjoys running as long as it’s not too far.

Physical TherapistDr. Alex Corbett earned his Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) from Georgia State University in Atlanta, Georgia. Prior to earning his doctorate, he attended North Carolina State University for his Bachelor of Science degree in Business Marketing. He later joined The United States Air Force as an active-duty service member.
Dr. Corbett has prior experience working in the strength and conditioning field. After years of coaching individuals of all ages, he understands what it takes to progress an individual from injury rehabilitation to performing at their best. Dr. Corbett has experience working with athletes, post-surgery patients, weekend fitness warriors, and the average person who is just trying to move pain-free and become stronger. He takes a special interest in getting active individuals back to the gym, their sport, or their hobby. Additionally, he has completed continuing education courses on Functional Dry Needling.
In his free time, Alex enjoys lifting weights in his garage gym, making homemade pizza, and hiking with his wife and two dogs.

Physical TherapistKat Lantz earned her Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) from Duke University. Prior to that, Kat obtained her Bachelor of Art in Spanish from the University of Tulsa.
Kat specializes in functional strengthening and is most interested in treating return to sport/recreation. In addition, she enjoys treating patients with vestibular and balance disorders.
In her free time, Kat enjoys exercising, spending time outdoors with her family, and reading.

Physical TherapistAlli Musser earned her Doctorate of Physical Therapy (DPT) at High Point University. Prior to that, Alli obtained her Bachelor of Science in Exercise Science from Hofstra University in Hempstead, NY. Alli specializes in pelvic health, earning her specialty certification through Evidence in Motion and obtaining additional education through Herman and Wallace. She also has completed additional training on Functional Dry Needling.
Alli is passionate about treating patients with pelvic pain, incontinence, pain with intercourse, and those who are pregnant and postpartum. She also works with patients with musculoskeletal and neurological conditions. Alli uses an evidence-based approach to Physical Therapy implementing manual therapy techniques, corrective exercise, and neuromuscular retraining in her treatment plans.
Prior to becoming a Physical Therapist, she received her Hatha Yoga Teaching Certification through Aura Wellness Center, teaching yoga throughout her undergraduate and graduate education.

Physical TherapistDr. Sean Trait earned his Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) degree from Utica College in NY. Prior to that, he earned his Bachelor of Science in Exercise Science from SUNY Brockport.
Upon completing his doctorate, Sean began his career treating patients in Seattle, WA and has recently relocated to the Raleigh area. Sean is also a Board Certified Orthopedic Clinical Specialist (OCS).
Sean enjoys helping patients achieve their goals and improve their quality of life
through physical therapy. He has a passion for patient empowerment and education, functional training, and aiding patients through the rehab process; giving them the tools to advocate and help manage their condition. Above all else, he enjoys having fun and building lasting relationships with his patients.
In his free time, he likes to cook, golf, participate in competitive powerlifting, and reading fantasy / sci-fy novels. He is also extremely excited to explore his new home in Raleigh and welcomes all food and activity recommendations!

Physical TherapistDr. Stefan Greenlee earned his Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) degree from South College in Knoxville, Tennessee. Prior to that, he earned his Bachelor of Science in Nutrition Science from North Carolina State University in Raleigh, NC.
Stefan is passionate about helping individuals move well and build a resilient mind and body. He enjoys treating patients with injuries that are keeping them from participating in the activities they love. Stefan is a firm believer that movement is medicine and has discovered this to be true in his own life. He desires to join patient’s in their rehab journey and to equip them with hope and perseverance.
In his free time, Stefan loves lifting weights and playing sports, as well as spending time outdoors with his wife and kids.
