Katie Knight PT, DPT
Clinic ManagerKatie is the Morehead City Clinic Manager.
Katie Knight graduated from East Carolina University with her Doctorate of Physical Therapy degree. Prior to attending graduate school, Katie received a Bachelor’s degree in Exercise Physiology from East Carolina University.
Katie has completed her post-doctorate training with Evidence In Motion and is now a Certified Pelvic Health Physical Therapist, specializing in the treatment of pelvic floor dysfunction in both men and women. Katie has also received her Dry Needling certification and has experience with both men’s and women’s orthopedic issues, including hip, low back and pelvis issues.
Katie resides in Morehead City, North Carolina, with her husband. She enjoys spending time with her chocolate lab, Lexie Lou, watching the Pirates play football (ARGHH), cooking, and spending time on the water.

Kerry Davis PT, DPT, OCS
Physical TherapistKerry earned her Doctor of Physical Therapy degree as a member of the charter class of South College in Knoxville, TN. Before earning her doctorate, she received her Bachelor of Science degree in Kinesiology from the University of Maryland, College Park.
Kerry completed the Evidence in Motion Orthopedic Residency program and earned her board certification as an Orthopedic Clinical Specialist (OCS). She has also completed her Functional Dry Needling (FDN) Specialist Certification through Evidence in Motion. Kerry has been certified as an Exercise Physiologist through the American College of Sports Medicine since 2004.
Before earning her doctorate, Kerry spent several years employed by the U.S. Navy
Morale, Welfare, and Recreation (MWR) Department as a Recreation Specialist, and loved the opportunity to work directly with the military community in many different ways, using her fitness background, learning management skills, and serving those who serve
our great country!
Kerry lives in Morehead City with her husband Jon and their three boys. They enjoy spending time with friends, cooking out, camping, and hanging out at the beach!

Robert Bridges PT, DPT

Robert Bridges PT, DPT
Physical TherapistDr. Rob Bridges earned his Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) degree from Tufts University in Boston, Massachusetts. Prior to that, he earned his Bachelor of Science in Exercise Physiology from East Carolina University. He will soon begin his Orthopedic Residency through Evidence In Motion and plans to become an Orthopedic Clinical Specialist.
Prior to earning his doctorate, Rob worked as a technician for Breakthrough Physical Therapy. It was during those years he discovered his passion for physical therapy and assisting patients in achieving their goals and returning to their prior level of function. He enjoyed the time he spent with patients so much that he decided a career as a DPT was a great fit.
In his free time, he likes playing basketball, running, and playing with his beloved dog Koopa. Rob and his wife love spending time together in downtown New Bern, where they reside, and can be found walking the waterfront or enjoying their favorite restaurants and breweries. He is a Massachusetts native and an avid fan of the New England Patriots and Boston Celtics.

Summer Kenny PT, DPT, CSCS
Physical TherapistDr. Summer Kenny earned her Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) degree from East Carolina University. Prior to that, she obtained her Bachelor of Science in Health Fitness Specialist from East Carolina University. During her collegiate studies, she became a Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist (CSCS) with the goal of being able to better help patients.
Summer decided she wanted to become a physical therapist after working as a technician at ECU Health Medical Center. During that time, she discovered a passion for helping people regain their independence through movement and skilled care. She enjoys working with a wide variety of patients, especially those with orthopedic conditions.
In her free time, Summer enjoys spending time with family and friends, baking, and going to the beach. She likes being physically active with friends, whether that is by playing pickleball or working out together. She grew up in Eastern North Carolina and is excited to work with the population of Morehead City.

Brittany Kelley
Clinic LiaisonBrittany represents the Morehead City region. She was born in Portsmouth, New Hampshire but raised in Morehead City, NC since a young age. She attended Meredith College and received a B.A. in Biology.
She has over 12 years of medical background from working in various medical settings including in-home care, Morehead City’s local hospital, and a physician’s office setting. She is passionate about helping patients receive what they deserve and advocating in the medical field.
In her free time, she enjoys working out at the Sports Center Performance Zone that her husband runs, boating, being outside, watching her three boys grow up together, watching her kids play sports, being their taxi driver, trips to the mountains and taking her boys on new vacations with her husband, Grant.
Brittany loves her role as a Clinic Liaison for BreakThrough Physical Therapy and the challenges and rewards that come with learning this role. She looks forward to the future of growing BreakThrough Physical Therapy along the coast of North Carolina.

Kevin Bond DPT

Kevin Bond DPT
PT, DPT, OCSDr. Kevin Bond earned his Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. Prior to that, he earned his Bachelor of Science in Biology from American University in Washington DC. Since earning his DPT , Kevin has expound on his knowledge and become an Orthopedic Certified Specialist (OCS).
Prior to BreakThrough Physical Therapy, Dr. Bond spent time in several different practices, giving him diverse experience with a variety of patients and conditions. His passion for physical therapy and rehab stems from a lifelong engagement with athletics and a strong desire to help people return to the activities they love to do.
Originally from Maine, Kevin has continued to move south over the years. He moved to the Crystal Coast in 2024 to raise his family and for their love for the beach. In his free time, Dr. Bond enjoys spending time with his two children, wife, and dog. You can find him at the beach, near the water, at the gym, grilling in the backyard, or at a playground with his kids.
