Muchas veces nos preguntamos: &#039;\u00bfPor qu\u00e9 no he vuelto a ponerme los jeans todav\u00eda? \u00bfCu\u00e1ndo sentir\u00e9 suficiente energ\u00eda para volver a estar en forma? \u00bfQui\u00e9n rob\u00f3 mi vagina y cu\u00e1ndo la recuperar\u00e9? \u00bfQui\u00e9n olvid\u00f3 mencionar que estas cosas podr\u00edan suceder?<\/p>\n<p>Durante el embarazo y el parto, ya sea por v\u00eda vaginal o por ces\u00e1rea, el cuerpo de la mujer, incluidos los senos, el abdomen, los m\u00fasculos, los tejidos y los nervios del suelo p\u00e9lvico, se estira y tira, todo ello en nombre de un embarazo y un parto normales y sin complicaciones. Y cuando ocurren complicaciones, el cuerpo puede sufrir a\u00fan m\u00e1s. Hay muchos s\u00edntomas comunes que las mujeres pueden experimentar como resultado del embarazo y el parto: dolor (espalda, coxis, caderas, vagina, recto, vejiga, suelo p\u00e9lvico, cuello, hombros), incontinencia (p\u00e9rdida de control de las heces u orina), urgencia o incapacidad para vaciar la vejiga, dolor durante las relaciones sexuales, orgasmo disminuido o ausente, debilidad y\/o separaci\u00f3n de los m\u00fasculos abdominales y dificultad para hacer ejercicio. A menudo me hacen dos preguntas: &#039;\u00bfSoy el \u00fanico?&#039; y &#039;\u00bfEs esta mi nueva normalidad?&#039; La verg\u00fcenza impide que muchas mujeres hagan estas preguntas en voz alta, \u00a1pero hay ayuda disponible!<\/p>\n<p>La incontinencia, una p\u00e9rdida involuntaria de orina, gases o heces, es el resultado del estiramiento y la presi\u00f3n sobre los m\u00fasculos, nervios y tejidos del suelo p\u00e9lvico durante el embarazo y el parto. Es muy com\u00fan: 50% de mujeres experimentan incontinencia un a\u00f1o despu\u00e9s de dar a luz a su primer hijo. 1 Un parto vaginal o instrumental normal aumenta el riesgo de incontinencia por s\u00ed solo m\u00e1s de tres a cuatro veces, y las lesiones anales mostraron un aumento de cuatro veces en el riesgo de incontinencia.1<\/p>\n<p>Hay varios factores fuera de su control que aumentan el riesgo de que una mujer sufra lesiones en el suelo perineal y p\u00e9lvico. Desafortunadamente, el desgarro vaginal y\/o la episiotom\u00eda realizados durante un parto vaginal pueden provocar problemas futuros con los m\u00fasculos del suelo p\u00e9lvico. 2 Estos m\u00fasculos son importantes para la continencia, el sexo y el soporte de los \u00f3rganos p\u00e9lvicos. Despu\u00e9s del parto, las mujeres suelen experimentar dolor durante las relaciones sexuales que puede afectar la excitaci\u00f3n, la lubricaci\u00f3n, el orgasmo y el funcionamiento sexual global.<em><strong>3<\/strong><\/em><\/p>\n<p>Otro s\u00edntoma com\u00fan que surge durante el embarazo es la di\u00e1stasis de rectos, una separaci\u00f3n de los m\u00fasculos rectos del abdomen (tambi\u00e9n conocidos como abdominales).
