Kenny Biggs PT, DPT, CMP
Physical TherapistKenny graduated from The Medical University of South Carolina in 2008, where he earned his Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT). Prior to MUSC, he graduated from UNC Wilmington in 2003 with a Bachelor of Arts in Physical Education.
Continuing in his education, Kenny has obtained certifications in Blood Flow Restriction Training, and as a Mulligan Practitioner, and has completed numerous manual therapy courses through Evidence In Motion, Maitland, the International Spine & Pain Institute, and utilizes Trigger Point Dry Needling. These techniques are proven to help with a variety of orthopaedic injuries and with the management of acute and chronic pain.
Kenny specializes in sports medicine and athletic injuries, sports performance, postoperative therapy needs, spine and hip conditions, and neurological injuries and disorders. His passion is getting to know his patients and helping them exceed their goals, be it sports-related or everyday functioning.
Kenny is a Greenville, North Carolina native and former collegiate baseball player with a lifelong passion for sports. Outside of work, he enjoys spending quality time with his wife and two children, relaxing at the beach, running, and playing golf.
A dedicated college sports fan, Kenny proudly supports the Georgia Bulldogs and the North Carolina Tar Heels. His love for athletics extends beyond watching the game—he is actively involved in coaching his children’s baseball and softball teams, where he enjoys helping young athletes develop their skills, confidence, and love for the game.
